I’m a Scottish screenwriter and technologist, based in Berlin and London. You've found my embarrassingly bare bones website. I'll make a fancier one soon. Any day now...
I have spent the last eight years writing and creating award-winning cross-platform projects for brands and broadcasters. I founded a startup or two. I was Head of Strategy and Content at Mint Digital, in London and New York. These days, I'm writing and developing TV drama projects in the UK and Europe.
I am represented by Jonathan Kinnersley and Katie Haines at The Agency.
A cross-platform specialist, I particularly love exploring the places where technology and storytelling intersect – think experiences that bridge TV and the web, or stories that start with: what if? I was named a Broadcast Hot Shot by Broadcast Magazine, won the inaugural Immersive Writing Lab prize and the Writing Platform Bursary.
I was the 2015-16 UK representative on Serial Eyes – Europe's first writers' room training programme, mentored by the likes of Frank Spotnitz and Sven Clausen. Writing and working collaboratively is my favourite thing. I'm currently based in Berlin, with regular stints in London and Glasgow.
